+In the post-war world, a new calendar gained popularity, which counted from the Event, the destruction of the Moon. Two abbreviations are used to denote dates: B.E. (before the Event) and A.E. (after the Event). Among the survivors, the old Gregorian calendar has long since lost its relevance, but most people have kept count. That the Event took place in 1976 A.D. is not a forgotten fact, and even if so, it can easily be verified from sources of the past era.

The separator between these two eras is the end of the Last War in 3 A.E., when nuclear bombs changed everything forever.
