Full Chronology
The history of the “Last Days” universe is rich in events. Humanity's dreams of a better future without wars, chaos and conflicts were shattered by the harsh reality, where the world's most powerful people care more about their own comfort than about the well-being of humanity. And the entire planet paid for it, twice: first the Event, and then the World War III, also known as the Last War.
Time System
In the post-war world, a new calendar gained popularity, which counted from the Event, the destruction of the Moon. Two abbreviations are used to denote dates: B.E. (before the Event) and A.E. (after the Event). Among the survivors, the old Gregorian calendar has long since lost its relevance, but most people have kept count. That the Event took place in 1976 A.D. is not a forgotten fact, and even if so, it can easily be verified from sources of the past era.
In addition to the above, people use the division of the timeline into the so-called “Old World” and “New World”. The separator between these two eras is the end of the Last War in 3 A.E., when nuclear bombs changed everything forever. The term “good old days” (or “good ol' days”) is also commonly used to refer to the time before O.I. foundation in 17 B.E. in a nostalgic context.
